I want to get the 70-271 and 70-272 exam this month, but, is it worth?
Because Windows Vista will be come up soon, and maybe they will replace the
MCDST with the new MCDST Vista maybe? Should I wait and see?

    Hi Indira,

MCDST on Windows XP will always be that, just like MCSE on Windows 2000 will
always be that. It will never change and if your job is to support Windows
XP then you are not wasting your time.

The truth is we are pretty sure that the MCDST certification which was born
with Windows XP will retire with Windows XP, and that the Windows Vista cert
will be MCTS: Vista Desktop Support.

    Good luck!

Any idea why? It seems strange to introduce a brand new cert for only one
    OS version...?
