Just got a new PC and am having difficulty getting the sound recorder to
work. Never had any bother on the old computer.

I save the sound clip as a wav file but when you go to play it back you can
"see" what you've recorded on the oscilloscope but there is no sound, Same
thing happens if you open the saved file with media player or anything else.
I tried adjusting some of the volume controls and checked to see nothing was
muted on the sound controls . Anyone any ideas please?

    Thanks .

Open up your audio properties (double click the speaker icon
in the system tray). Make sure that 'Mic' and 'Line In' are
not muted, and that the correct device is selected. Check
    volumes, also.
