I'm going to be reinstalling Windows ME on a friends computer tomorrow.
Since I've got broadband and he hasn't I'd much rather download all the
critical updates for WinME from my computer and chuck them on a cd so I
don't have to spend hours downloading them.
Can they be downloaded in bulk, for installation later as I'm needing to do?
I've searched Microsofts main site and their windowsupdate site but I
    haven't had any joy.

    Any help appreciated.

    Cheers

On Windowsupdate, click "Configuration" and select "Show Windows Update
catalog under "See also"". Go to the Windows Update catalog and download
away! I think MicroSoft have a tool which you can copy to your friends
computer that identifies which patches he needs for you so that you can
    download them at your house.

If you install IE6.1 then this will give you most of the critical updates,
from there you can do it on dialup quiet happily.

There is one major update on cd you can buy. Its Windows XP :)

If that doesn't work (can't remember which version of Windows Update WinME
    uses), you can try http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/catalog
