My brother-in-law has got hold of a copy of Universal XP Drivers.

It's in .daa format and is about 780MB.

Now, is it possible to burn 780MB file in CD of 700MB?

If yes, how does one do it?

Further,he says, "If you just pop the Universal Driver CD in, Windows
will automatically search the comprehensive drivers."

    Is this true?

Your guidance in this regard will be of great help.

    Thanks.

Depends. Has it got the drivers for your hardware on the disc?
