Windows 2003 Server 64bit / .net sp1 problem

Discussion in 'Windows 64bit' started by =?Utf-8?B?Um9i?=, Jun 1, 2006.

  1. Hi, I just had my windows 2003 r2 64bit server do a autoupdate of the .net
sp1, Now the server will not boot. It stays on the splash screen of the
windows logo that says Windows 2003 Server and the scroll bar still moves,
but the server will not get past this. I can boot into safe mode with
networking. I've looked at the event viewer and found it happened on a reboot
to finish the install of .net sp1. Does anyone know how to get the server
    back up ?

    Thanks
    Rob
