If folders are listed in "details" view & if I try to rename a folder the
    focus jumps up two folders,
    I cannot rename folder.
If I change the view to Medium icons I then I can rename the folder no
    problem.
Can anyone confirm this running Win7?
    Thks.

  2. I just tried it on my Win 7 x64 and I don't encounter any behavior as
you describe. In detail view when I right click on the folder and
select rename it switches to a little box with a flashing cursor and I
    just rename it.

It sounds like you have a timing problem, possibly from a bad mouse driver.

    No problem here, either.
