I have had a problem seeing the two XP machines on my network since
installing Win 7 on my laptop. I installed the Link Layer Topology
Discovery patch on both XP machines and was suddenly able to see them.

This morning, I am back to the same old problem. I can see the
computers through other applications that are mapped to drives on the
XP machines and I can print to a shared printer connected to an XP
machine, but I can't see them using Explorer.

    Any other ideas?

  2. Hi
The computers' IPs stay the same each reboot or changes with reboot?
If you are using Router DHCP and it has IP reservation try to reserve the
    IPs.
Otherwise, try to use static IPs.
