I am thinking of putting a small computer in my car and having the
internet in there running off a 7" lcd monitor that will also be for
navigation, dvd etc. (Battery power will need to get boosted).

What providers are there for wireless high speed internet access in
the UK? And what are the costs like?

Also, how far from a hot spot can you generally go before the signal
becomes too weak to be able to surf the net effectively?

    Cheers

    John
