    Hi,
In McAfee v 7 viruscan they had the ability to exclude certain folders
from background scanning, great for choosing your flight sim prog or video
editing prog from being interfered with and messing up what you were doing.
Very popular with simmers at the time. So what did the design team do, they
overlooked this feature in V8 and despite saying it would be brought back
following user comments, it wasnt there in V9.
Has Mcafee such an exclusion option now, or if not which viruscanner has
?...hope Mcafee have ,... as uninstalling it, its spamchecker, firewall etc
etc and installing another program will be no doubt prone to nasties , those
being all part and parcel of my PC system .
However a rebuild is now due so if there is a better less popuppy prog, with
exclusion option, and one able to truly get rid of spam and junk emails,
then I shall go for it.
