    Depends on the printer itself NOT the interface.
    Look for PPM rating. Usually faster for B&W than for color.

    A USB laser will be faster than a SCSI daisy wheel.

    It's a meaningless question--the interface is not what limits printing speed
    unless the interface is exceedingly slow.

    there are parallel interface dot matrix printers that print at 3500
    characters per second.

    Add that up.
