what's "IR, SR, LR"

    Hi, guys:

    when read cisco optical interfaces,e.g: SRP, POS.. I always read "IR",
    "SR", "LR". What's that mean?

    Short Reach, Intermediate Reach, and Long Reach. The terms refer
    generally to what length fiber link an interface is meant to be used
    on. There's also ELR (Extended Long Reach).
