i might be able to get an external firewire back up hard drive and want to
know what one to get. it will be 120gb or so. i like the one button push
back up one from is it maxtor? it will be used with windows xp and maybe
someday mac os x. widows 98 SE also is a possibility, but not sure. so what
do people suggest. price is an issue as I want the cheapest, but am leaning
towards the one button back up model. it will be used to store stuff only,
not running programs from it. so rpm may not matter for just storing right?
i mean transferring files to it from the pc if the back up drive is only
5400 rpm won't make much speed difference vs if it was 7200rpm would it?
since i won't be running stuff off the drive.?

Ok, no one answered, but I kinda had it made up in my mind what one I would
get. So I got the Maxtor one touch 200gb external drive.
