I launched Firefox 1.0.4 today and a grey box appeared at the bottom of
the browser window with the following text...

    toolbarbutton id="gwa-speedo-button" type="menu" gwa-speed="0"

Has an extension gone bad? Anyone know how to get rid of this? Thanks.

If you installed Google Web Accelerator, try disabling it.
