Web pages loading very slowly:

    My downloading speed tests are good but when I'm surfing, my computer
    seems to be on dialup. I've reformatted the hard drive and that only
    helped for a few days....


    Maxtor SATA 160GB 8mb buffer HDD
    P4-2.6Ghz FSB800 512KB L2-Cache- H.Threading on ASUS P4c800-E-DX
    motherboard, 512MB DDR400 PC3200 Memory X2, Matrox Millennium Video card
    (old!), Pioneer 16X DVD-ROM (slot load),LG 52x32x52 CD-RW, Microsoft
    Intellimouse, Dell 17" monitor, Inwin S500 ATX case, 420 Watt Enlight
    Power Supply Dual Fan, Windows XP Home SP1, Rogers Highspeed

    Norton Internet Security

    Microsoft Office

    I using Norton Internet Security, before I had the Firewall level on to high
    and that slowed me down allot. That me or not be the case with you?
