Yey! some bush-dwellers in Great Barrier Island
are getting a landline by Telekom ($10000, paid for by the neighbors).

We have only 12V and are now looking for OLD LAPTOPs (486/386)
with modem, or separate 14k4 Pcmcia modem.. or old laptop
with PCMCIA slot, but no modem... whatever we can find..
broken batteries is an advantage :)

please email if you can help...

    MANY THANKS!!!
