My daughter has a Dell Laptop that came with Windows XP Home edition that
she purchase for a class on computers in school. She needed to install
Windows XP Pro on it and did it as an upgrade. The only has done that and
installed Norton Internet Security. I Put AIDA32 on this computer after the
problems began. The computer seems to drag in speed and when you shut down
the computer it come up with a program called "Sample" which will shut down
or you can "end task" also. I am not sure if this "Sample" is causing the
slowdown or what. I can not see it in the "Task Manager" or in "msconfig"
    listing. Any ideas?
