VxWorks -IOS conversion on Cisco AP's?

  1. Anyone tried to upgrade vxWorks AP to IOS using scripts (with
    conversionFirmware image and SNMP/tftp) ? without using WLSE or the
    Cisco conversion tool.

    Yes.

    After converting without the conversion tool the newly converted AP is
    at factory defaults.
    No problems, all you need is a TFTP server and it is best practice to
    have a console cable available if anything goes wrong.
    Something will go wrong, only if you don't have it ;-)

    On a few APs, no other upgrade method would work.
