Virus Scanner

    Is there any programs that can be burnt on to a Bootable CD that allows a
    full and comprehensive scan of the OS and all other Folders & files, on a PC
    using the XP os, before the XP os actually boots up.

    Hmmm. some conditions, full and comprehensive, really depends on what's
    available.

    Linux boot CD with AV and NTFS filesystem access.

    Note:AVG free will also allow you to make a rescue disk.You can
    convert a boot floppy to a bootable CD using programs like Nero.
