Virus Protection turned off

    I have Dell Inspirion 530 with windows vista and Norton 360 v4. In windows security center it says that the virus protection is turned off but when I try to turn it on it takes me to the Norton window where it says that the computer is protected. The tech from Dell says not to worry, is this true?
