    Hi guys,

When you bring up a message with a file in the body (as opposed to a file
attachment), how do you save that to open the file?

I'm guessing you just copy and paste all the text (binary), and place it in
a file of the correct type? I have tried this, but can not open the file
successfully, is there any file header or something that I must add?

    cheers for any help

Try right-clicking on the image, as see if the menu has "Save file as..." or
"Save picture as..." (if you are trying to save an image) or just "Save
    as..."

But I don't think there are 'files' (like Excel or Word documents) in the
body of an email...maybe you should explain more about what the issue is?

If you would like to continue the mindless braying of unspecified
derision, I'd suggest that you learn how quote; so that all and sundry
may know the object of your remarkable repartee, and enjoy it all the
    more.

The pictures i am trying to view do not come up as attachments, it's like
the sender of the picture has opened it in notepad, and copied the contents
to the newsgroup message body eg:

    ---------
    ))=J*:tpsp*+,**Z*Z**)*;nY.£*+*.***f**)*
    --------

Any ideas on how to make this garble into a viewable image??
