video recompression

  1. i have several dvd's ripped down into avi's using divx and xvid codecs.
    many of them are ripped down into two disk sets in avi format. id like to
    combine the avis and recompress them to fit on a singe 700mb cd rom but i
    dont know where to start. any help would be appreciated!

    Go back to your original DVDs and re-encode them for best results...
