Is it possible to install a Geforce2 or radeon 7500 video card on a computer
with integrated video? Emachine T 1440.

With most of the mother boards there is a way to turn off the internal card.
There should be a prompt in the BIOS setup for this, or at least a jumper on
    the mother board.

Yes, but check the documentation for that computer as to how to disable the
onboard first. Most, simply disable in Control Panel, some also in BIOS,
still others have a jumper on the m/b to disable (rare, but does occur).
After that, before shutdown, you will need to install Micro$oft generic VGA
driver for video (done in Control Panel), shutdown, install new card,
restart, follow the instructions on the screen, making sure that Windows
doesn't try to reinstall the onboard, use the manufacturer's drivers from
their disk, etc. Actually, a lot simpler than it sounds...luck...

Yes, but there is no available AGP slot in that computer, only PCI.
    Somewhat limits your choices.

In theory yes assuming you have a free slot for the type of card you
    want to install.
