A friend shot videos of my daughter's wedding, but it's on VHS tapes. I
can play them, but I want to get them into my JVC vidcam. Once there I can
burn them to DVD easily enough, but the Manual tells nothing about how to
hook them together to record across.

I have the cables, including S-video. I did try all combinations i can
find; no joy. I also sent an e-mail to JVC, but no reply (yet).

Camera is a JVC GR-DV800U, and it works well for movies & stills, so it
    isn't a bad camera problem.

    Any suggestions appreciated.

  2. I'd have to know more about your connections on both cameras and any
input/output you have to your pc (if ur looking to include this in the DVD
    burning process).
