VBA help Please

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Lindsay.Rollo@paradisedotnetdotnz, Dec 19, 2010.

  1. In texts supplied for publication, hyphens have been used where
the en dash is preferable to indicate a range of values, eg 5-9
    instead of 5–9.

This substitution is also desirable in indexes to indicate that
the indexed entity is found over a succession of pages.

Can anyone suggest a S & R solution, or know of the VBA solution
that can loop though a document or index and make the changes until a
    Not Found condition applies.

Just to complicate the situation, one has also to test for a
hyphen indicating a range where he hyphen falls at the end of a line
and a soft hyphen is inserted.

Any and all assistance will be appreciated.
