Utilities to view long file names in dos window?

    Hi

    Have had a PC crash.... and can boot from floppy but when i go to c
    drive , everything is in Dos file names MIKEDIR~1 etc

    Is there anyway to view long filenames in a dos window.

    DOS only supports 8 letter filenames plus the extension.
    You should be able to make out what you're looking for.
