Not sure if this is the right place but here goes. I'm looking to use my pc
as a PVR unit. I want to take the S Video output from my Bell Expressvu
satellite receiver and split the cable so it can go to my pc as well. Then I
should be able to record to my hard drive.
Can anyone recommend an inexpensive way of splitting the s video cable.
Googling seems to find amplified splitters which I'm sure will do the job
well, but I don't really want to spend a couple of hundred bucks to do this.
Is there a cheaper way. Is there a splitter similar to a coax splitter? Also
if there is a Canadian supplier that would be a great help. Many thanks in
    advance folks.
