I just got a Pentax *istD. I got it because I thought it would be a good
starting point in digital SLRs since I already had several Pentax K mount
manual lenses. While my Sigma 70 - 210mm telephoto and standard Pentax 50mm
mesh perfectly with the camera, I have a beautiful Tamron 24-48mm that mounts
into place but the camera won't accept because that lens has an AE stop on it
instead of an A which has to be clicked into place. Does anybody know if
    there's some way around this?
