User text fields in pdf files?

    Is there any way to make a pdf file editable? For example, a form
    that's usually printed and filled out with a typewriter... it'd be
    easier to put in text boxes in the pdf file so the user can type in the
    information then print it out.

    Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks.
