Hi I'm new here on the forum and I have question regarding how to setup Thunderbird for usenet or newsreader in general.

I have setup the news server from my ISP and I can subscribe to the groups and get the messages but my problem hence my question is the following. How do I get attachments like zip files etc. Attachments like images I can see save and but thread with including archives I don't see an attachment and the thread message is just bunch of rubbish (binary file). I just seem to figure out how to get the attached file. Any ideas. Could it be that my ISP doesn't store large attachments (10-15 mb) and I only get the header or isn't Thunderbird equiped for this???

    Kind Regards

    André
