'URL stamp' extension?

IE has this cool feature that stamps any file you pull off the net with
its URL (on macs it puts it in the file info box). So if you have an
image and a month later you want to find out where you got it, you can
look at the URL. Is there a firefox extension that will do this? Some
way to attatch the URL to the file's metadata or something? I believe
this is sometimes referred to as a 'URL stamp.'

    thanks
