Unable to View Files in a Network Share

I have a user who is using VPN when out of the office and gets to her
network drives, she connects to all of them fine. One however has a
problem, it doesnt show any files that are in the root folder and some
folders are missing that are in the actual drive and those folders
that are showing up have no files within them. When she connects in
the office, she has no problems at all she can view all files and
folders. I created a batch file just recently to map all of her drives
to her machine after she vpn's in, that didnt fix anything. If you
guys have any ideas on what could be done please let me know.

I am waiting on her to try one last thing, i believe that the drive
may be manually mapped to her system so I told her to disconnect from
the drive while in vpn and then run the batch file again and it should
remap the drive i just am not sure if it is going to bring the files
    with it or not.

    Again any help is appreciated!!

    Thanks!
