    Folks
I have a BThub wireless router, to enable VPN to my work computerI have to set my IPaddress to 192.168.0.0 since a 192.168.1.0 will cause a conflict. I have followed the instructions to configure the hub but when I do I am unable to connect to the hub and I have to reset it. Can anyone enlighten me what I am doing wrong.
    Cheers

Are you sure that 192.168.0.0 is a legal IP address? I didn't think so, and after a Google search, I found this validation:

"When converted to binary, node addresses that are all zeroes (.0, or '00000000') and all ones (.255, or '11111111') are reserved for referring to the network itself, and for the network's broadcast address, respectively. So addresses 192.168.0.0 and 192.168.0.255 would not be available addresses for client workstations."

note, al's right. So use the IP 192.168.0.2 other wise use 192.168.0.1?

the common Router ip is 192.168.0.1, and anything else is normally 192.168.0.2->192.168.0.254
