I am having trouble logging into my excite e-mail. When I try, A
    screen comes up telling me

"The browser you're using is not allowing you to sign in to Excite.

Right now, your browser's settings are configured to disable cookies
and/or javascript. In order to access your account, you must change
your browser's settings to accept both cookies AND javascript.

NOTE: You will also receive this error if you computer system time is
off by more than a few hours, or is set to an incorrect day or year.
To check your system time on your computer, please double-click the
date and time in the bottom right of your screen, and confirm it is
    set correctly."

This only happens in IE. My browser is configureed to enable cookies
and javascript, i even when into settings and pressed restore default
settings. My system time is fine too. I had to get a different
browser to check my e-mail and it is a pain in the ass. I am able to
check my yahoo mail fine. and all other sites work fine. I am able
to log into my bank and pay bills fine so i belive things should be
fine...but nooooo it still dosent let me log into excite. I even
tried to upgrade my IE and still no luck...help me!

threw back my head and roared with laughter as luvtogofast continued:

How long has this problem existed ?
Could it not be a temporary problem ?

So far as I know, the default IE settings are to have cookies and Javascript
OFF. Are you sure you've checked them?
