Thunderbird spam filters

Discussion in 'NZ Computing' started by Dave - Dave.net.nz, Jun 13, 2005.

  1. Anyone know whether or not the spam filters that are in Thunderbird work
across all accounts, or whether they are "per account", I mean keeping
one database for spam rather than one per account.

I've had a google for it, and I can't find anything definitive either way...

The reason I ask, is that I thought I could use my spam catching account
to train my spam filter for my other accounts, so all in all I get less
    spam directly into my inbox.

Further to that, I figure that if I could just tell it that all email to
a certain address is spam, then I could just ignore that account... so
maybe I need to learn XUL and write an extension or something.
