I created a new email account (TB 1.0.2) and left "use global inbox"
checked. However, no email was coming to the local folders inbox from
the new email account, but mail from an existing account was (didn't
before). So I manually deleted the new account from the documents and
    settings/application data/thunderbird/profiles.../mail folder and
created the new account again, this time unchecking use global inbox.
The new account works fine now, but email from the pre-existing account
is still showing up in both local folders and the inbox of the existing
account. How do I stop it from downloading to both folders?

    Thanks.

I was hitting "get all new messages." If I just hit the account name it
only goes to the correct account's inbox. But is hitting "get all new
messages" supposed to download mail to both the account's inbox and
    local folders inbox?
