I actually like the thumbnails on the page, they give the impression of
lots of small photographs of one area... but that butterfly looks
familiar... I think it's the same one I photographed about three months
    ago :O)

The thumbnails are better , but your files are still huge in the 1Mb range ,
I have an ADSL connection but gave up after the first 2 , as too slow to
    appear.

You should look at learning to re-size and compress your pics next ,
I have mine at 640x480 with 70% compression this gives a file around 30-50kb
    ,
they are quick to load and perfectly adequate for web viewing

    ........and I discovered another serious
    problem with the enlargements. The
images are specified with code like:

    <img src="101_0183.JPG" border="0"
    width="60%" height="60%" alt="101_0183.JPG">

The page is letting the browser reduce
    the size of the images.

The actual image size on my screen is
460 by 344 pixels, which should be
something between 18 and 100k or so.
But a huge 1261K image is actually being
displayed, so the download time is about
an order of magnitude too long for what
    you get.

You need to actually reduce the size of
the images to a web-friendly size before
    feeding them to the program.

    HTH,
    m
