I have a ThinkPad t40, for some reason or another, I can't get into windows xp.
I'm not sure what caused this, but when I startup, I get the usual "IBM ThinkPad" screen, but it doesn't proceed to Windows. If I leave it for a while I get errors 0271, and 0176, "check date and time settings" and "System Security - The System has been tampered with." respectively.
then a password prompt screen that I have never seen before, and all I can do is turn off the computer.
If anyone could help me that would be great.
    thanks
