There are a few different 2-disc versions of Cameron's The Abyss out
    there.

Which is the best/has the most comprehensive set of
    extras/documentaries etc.?

    For example,
    http://www.dvdpopcorn.com/DVDDetails.asp?ProductID=31383
Is a region 2, 2 disc Special Edition with the usual a black cover and
a silver strip across the top saying 2 disc Special Edition.

    http://www6.cd-wow.com/detail_results_2.php?product_code=5018&subcat=region2&affid=5550
Is a THX region 2, that has Special Edition written below the title (a
la 1993 release) and a circular logo bottom left covering part of the
    poster picture.

    http://dvdimport.com/product.asp?cstd=&productid=5822
Is a region 1 THX, and is a Special Edition black

    http://www.playusa.com/playusa.asp?page=title&r=R1&title=4988
Is a region 1, that is a Special Edition white!

    Thanks in advance,
    Warren
