Telnet/open Port

    Hi all

    I have an application that use port 1433. I am unable to access the
    application from my LAN. I can ping the Computer successfully telnet port 21
    this works fine.
    but when I telnet 1433 I get this msg Can not open connection to host on
    port 23.

    You can try Internet Explorer and put the IP address and a colon then 1433.
    It will look like this in the address bar.
    197.197.197.15:1433
    Good luck.
