Teach your kids to program

    the Greenfoot project <http://www.greenfoot.org/>, which offers some
    freely-downloadable Java code to try to get kids interested in learning
    basics of programming. They've done a lot of pre-built "scenarios" that you
    can play with. Looks like they've also tried to take into account
    instructors who might not have great technical skills themselves.
