TB Preview Panel safe?

Discussion in 'Computer Support' started by Minister Rennasaince Faire-A-Con, Sep 29, 2006.

  1. I was wondering. I hear alot how unsafe OE is and one of the reasons
being that Outlook opens the email in the preview panel.

But TB does the same thing, so what's the difference in safety in that
    respect?

I have the "Qurb" eTrust anti-spam that will quarantine messages in
outlook or OE express. It seems that THAT would be safer to use since I
can review things before I open them up. I have been told that it's
possible to get a virus silently just by opening an email.

Turn the Preview pane off! (You can do that in both clients......)

View-Layout and uncheck Message pane - F8 toggles it......
