Tacacs+ disconnect reason 8 (Port error)?

Discussion in 'Cisco' started by Yehavi Bourvine, Oct 22, 2003.

  1. Hello,

We are running a Cisco-7,200 as an LNS server for ADSL and cable services.
Recently we have a lot of users complainning about disconnections without the
abulity to reconnecr immediately (they have to try several times). From teh
Tacacs+ logs the reason is 8 (Port error) and the extended reason is 1063. Any
idea what it means and how to locate the source of the problem? The carriers
    claim they have no problems...
    Thanks, __Yehavi:
