T1/PRI gateway using aDSL vs dedicated bandwidth

I am currently running Quintum Tenor gateways using dedicated IP
bandwidth and would like to use them over aDSL. A tech I use says its
no problem, but not being technical enough to understand the fine
details, I would like other opinions. I also use vonage service and
know it works fine for one or two lines over Cable/DSL, but I am
interested in connecting a PBX and having approx 30 simultaneous
callers (or PRI equivelant [23 lines]) going out over aDSL because the
dedicated bandwidth is cost prohibitive. I know the basic parameters
fit, but I wam wondering about reality and if anyone has done this
type of thing/comparison. I supposedly only need between 400-500k
upstream and I am measuring 600k on my DSL line so bandwidth should be
fine (this according to Quintum bandwidth calculator on their
website). What about latency or other parameters???

    Thoughts and opinions? Thanks.
