Symantec buys Powerquest. Good thing?

    (before someone replies to say this is old news, I haven't seen anyone
    mention it here)

    Is this a good thing?

    The best uninstaller programme I have ever tried was Cybermedia
    Uninstaller 5.1. The later version under McAfee was stuffed. I hope
    Symantec keep Drive Image and Partition Magic intact.

    Why would they keep drive image as a competing product to norton ghost?

    If they had any sense they would because it is generally recognised as
    better if you read the reviews. But stranger things happen.
