"Switch User" does not work

    we have multiple users on our computer and find it useful to use the "Switch
    User" function to swap without logging off . "Log OFF" works OK but
    recently it has stopped working. we use Windows XP Home Edition. is there
    any obvious reason why this happens?

    Have a look at this list and see if any seem appropriate :
