Is it possible to show supersript in a text entry in excel for example the
symbol for H2O or Cubic metres - m3??

    TIA

That's a bit of a bugger and depends on the version of Excel you have. As a
general rule the style options you need are not available when editing
inside a cell, though the font size and bold, underline, italic options are.
That means you can type large and small fonts in a cell, with bold,
underline or italic anywhere, but not superscript or subscript.

The easiest way around it is, assuming that you also have Word, to type the
text as you want it in Word then copy/paste the formatted text into the cell
where you want the superscript text to appear. The cell should be set to
    type Text.

You can't even copy super/subscript out of a formatted comment and paste it
into a cell. It will lose its formatting every time.

Yes. Highlight the character you wish to show in subscript or
superscript, go to Format Cell > Text, and select the option.

The Excel help function (f1) could've told you the same.
