Sunpak Charger Gone Bad?

Discussion in 'Digital Photography' started by Kevin Jarrett, Sep 20, 2003.

  1. Hi everyone,

My Oly 3040Z came with a Sunpak 4hr AA NiMh charger (ACC-M1001-01). It
has always charged the cells in almost 4 hours exactly and the
batteries never got very warm. Last night the charging lights were
still on @ 5 hours and the batteries (and charger) were hot. They were
fully discharged when I attempted the charge.

Is the charger bad? The batteries? Both?

Also, can I charge lower-rated batteries (say, 800mAH cells) in this
    particular charger?

    Thanks in advance,

    -kj-

I hate cheap assholes like you. Go buy a new charger and a set of
batteries. They do not last forever as some of you cheap skates would
hope. Scumbag. Lick the crack of my unwiped asshole after a wet shit.
