For some reason, searching in the address bar of Explorer doesn't work,
every time, Google comes up with the words "auto search msn" in the search
    box.

I've tried re-starting, and Delete Files, and checked settings in Options of
    IE but no joy..

Could anyone let me know a way to tackle this.

I'd like to be able to search from the address bar.. as it should do..

    many thanks...

Tools / Internet Options / Programs / Reset Web Settings.

Also, you could use the Google Toolbar---just DON'T use the
    advanced features.
