can someone draw me a picture??

    64x4 vs 32x8 vs 64x8 vs 64x64

    64x64 memory is 512 meg - I get that.

it is also 8 64x8 chips- I get that.

it is also 32x8x4 banks - that one is streching my imagination.
maybe I don't understand what a "bank" is.
How do they break up a 64x8 chip??

    where does 64x4 fit in?

does the controller see 64 i/o lines or are 16 bits (a bank??) muxed
    onto 16 o/i pins??

    thanks

i would guess that their speed rating is more important than their
    configuration.
