State of the Net: Bad

  1. From a "Consumer Reports" survey of US households

    * Disappointing but true: Yes, people do actually buy stuff from spammers.
    * Surprising but true: Yes, lots of people have actually _replaced_ their
    PCs just to get rid of malware infestations.
